It seems noone cares…
How come in a democratic country ready to enter European Union are still cities with MAJOR problems? It’s very important for the image of the WHOLE country because a country it’s represented by its cities.
Techirghiol is the oldest watering place on the Romanian litoral, but just like a veteran grandfhater it has been ABANDONED. The lake properties are so rare, there’s only one lake with same health benefits in Egipt, so it’s ENOUGH to say that this lake is unique in all Europe. But noone cares…Noone wants to exploit this place, which used to be a beautiful place as i been told. Techirghiol has a monastery(Sf.Maria) which was built in 1750 in the North Romania and brought in Techirghiol in 1951. The main point is Techirghiol USED TO BE a very well know turistic city thanks to the monastery and off course of the lake, but some pple from Romania between 0-30 never heard of this city, only if their relatives told them. The city lost his lake attraction, pple all over the Europe used to come in the summer for dealing their health problems but when the city garbage it’s being dumped IN the lake, guess what?
Another problem is gettin at front because this city had THE SAME mayor for over 12 years…THIS IS NOT RIGHT at all. Pple say the city lost its value in the time when this mayor ruled(1992-2004). How can you live in a city with “value” and let one man to decide its faith? and you let him do that for years…it’s unspeakable really.
this was made on April/27/05 so…take a look at the oldest watering place
this looks good…but think about the places that surround the light, aren’t they dark?
This used to be a Clynic and it is 100 m away from The Monastery(and 300 m away from my house)…what a touristical attraction!
same lake, same border, same garbage, same GREAT city…ironic huh?
until one of my homies help me make more pictures, i’m gonna write way much more than this “pilot episode” remember any directly comments at FicatStricat@yahoo.com
