“The Starfish Story”
Ok, now first of all i got this from a book, borrowed from a friend, a real cool person (u still gotta work with your attitude…). Anyway, this is a book sign, and it really makes a lotta sense to me, i hope it will do that for you too
There was once a man vacationing on the coast of Mexico. One evening he decided to take a midnight stroll down the desert beach. There was a fool moon and down the beach he could make out what appeared to be a boy who would scurry around, pick something up and throw it back into the ocean.
As the man drew closer to the boy he could see that the beach was littered with starfish. As he reached the boy he asked him what he was doing. The boy explained that with each fool moon the high tide would wash the starfish so far up the beach that they were destined to die next day in the sun.
The man responded that there must be thousands of miles of beach and milions of stranded starfish-how much difference did this one boy hope to make?
The boy pondered the question for a moment, looked back at the starfish in his hand, tossed it as hard as he could back into the life-giving sea and answered, “It made a difference to that one.”
I think about this everyday…and I try to make a difference like er’day
Peace!
I was thinking about that answer.
Anywas that is something to “ponder” about a lot. Too bad there arent a lot of ppl like that boy, but plenty like the man

Yeah…but reading that…the man can become like the boy.
