It may sound crazy, but it ain’t.Ignorance is the mother of all problems(imo) it will never bring something good…
“is more than flinging a coin to a beggar; it comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring.”How many of us really think that when they pass over a beggar on the street?NOT SO MANY i’m sure of that, and that’s because of their ignorant attitude, which was probably taught by parents who kept on living without an ideal. As we can see, the 3rd world war is “knocking at the door” and SO MANY of us don’t agree with, because we don’t want to suffer. There are a lotta kinds of organizations ANTI-WAR, there are being made a lotta movies ANTI-WAR, and i shouldn’t speak about hip hop music, which is TOTTALY against it and have fought against it for many years, but with all these what is the result? Seems nobody checks this so called rebellions no more, and why is that? The people go blind when they see on TV how journalists get decapitated? NO-(but they want to remain blind) The media wish to go deaf to all the records(well intitled) as “Weapons of Mass Destruction”,”Sleeping with the enemy”,”Revolutionary”,?NO-(they too concerned on playing candy shop, and number 1 stunna). The main factor is US(pple) and our IGNORANCE. When the ignorance to the factors that are still fighting for beliefs and peace strikes pple’s weak minds, they’re lost. If we loose a man for his own ignorance you THEN will realise there aren’t so MANY PPLE.
Movies, have an audio-visual impact, so is very important what we are watching.
In Pearl Harbor film there is a line that goes like this (I’ve looked myself in the mirror in this uniform and i still don’t know who i am…i look like a hero but i don’t think i am”). These kind of lines make you think deeper about the purpose of a soldier and what is he fighting for…many soldiers joins army just to discover themselvs not because of patriotism, or a good cause( u cannot FIGHT for a good cause in a war, because a war by definition ain’t a good cause IMO) and they ill LISTEN TO ORDERS, even if they aren’t agree with. Just like on discovery channel, SOME films show you BOTH sides of pain and let YOU contemplate on their messages. What people don’t WANT to understand is that THEY ARE STARTING a war with their IGNORANCE. They don’t want to raise up hands against their leaders, even though you can see them everyday speaking about social struggle and the hard life they living at the corner of the street(a wrong place), not in public places or tv, they ARE AFRAID?NO-(they are ignorant).
WHY WE (pple around the WORLD) prefer to remain silent in front of A GROUP of men, politically well placed? Aren’t we being ignorant when it comes about our lives?
“The Manchurian candidate” is another good movie. I heard it’s a remake (this is very good because the ones who had been ignorant THEN, will be replaced by their sons as well ignorants as their predecesors) anyway the thing is that this kind of sh*t may be happening in USA(land of “milk and honey”, whateva that means). Bush is only the top of the iceberg, behind him there’s a whole spider web(the devils hand with x fingers). But the pple who populate a country represent a real tarantula, they should bring down the whole “black iceberg”. It’s not so well to show some facts when you’re giving movie lines as arguments, but think about the message of art and the impact of it troughout the years…just think about it.The world you want to live in is looking like this? (btw Bruegel is my favourite painter)
So unless you want to live in a hell better raise up your sword, your lyrical sword, your thoughts, your attitude and start a “changing mentality movement” because…IGNORANCE KILLS!!!
